Supporting new projects with sourcing suppliers to ensure materials are available for trials and a robust supply chain is established for ongoing production requirements. Also supporting Purchasing strategy which delivers the most competitive commercial position for our business, with robust and lean supply chain supporting production.

IF YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT...

Issue of Request for Quotations and analysis of supplier responses
Prepare and issue purchase orders according to Company purchasing policies and procedures
Build good working relationships both internally with cross-functional team members and externally with suppliers
Benchmark prices for materials, consumables and services
To ensure material and services are supplied in line with MRP and requisitions to support both pre-production and serial production demands
Support Capex & NPI Projects to ensure contracts support business requirements and policies and are adhered to by Suppliers
Review and update non GBP standard costs regularly
To optimize commercial opportunities, including bench marking costs, to achieve cost and efficiency savings
Participate in multi department improvement activities
