Launch/Process Engineer

Ref-Nr. 930
Responsible for manufacturing work elements of New Product Introduction from Quotation to SOP +90 days. Provide engineering support in completing required tasks to ensure a smooth and comprehensive launch into production respecting the needs and requirements of both the production plant and customer.
IF YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT...
  • Technical support for project management, feasibility, CAD and manufacturing teams
  • Monitor process metrics with assistance from methods engineers to ensure process is delivering cost expectations in acquisition.
  • Develop processes ensuring lean techniques are implemented.
  • Create and train to standard work instructions
  • Manage project ECR/DCR/DRFQ within the plant ensuring a comprehensive impact assessment is completed and communicated to key account managers in a timely manner.
  • Complete the MTM analysis and compare to project costings to ascertain delta.
  • Validate the BOM
  • Buy off the assembly process with assistance from the Assembly Engineer
  • Develop the PfEP for the project
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategy within the facility and incoming 2nd tier supplied parts
  • Develop packaging according to PfEP and manage the procurement
...AND POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Minimum HNC or equivalent
  • Professional Qualification
  • 1st Tier Automotive environment
  • APQP Experience
  • AutoCAD 2D
  • Good PC skills
