Help the company to meet customer expectations and internal targets by examining components and identify instances of non-conformance

IF YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT...

  • Drive a right first-time culture by identifying instances of non-conformance and working with team leaders and operators to ‘set the standard’ to ensure a quality first mindset.
    ML Post Paint Inspection – Assist with product diverted to Quality department for outgoing inspection to Customer cosmetic standards.
  • Understand Customer specifications and Expectations. Ensure you are familiar with the customer and quality expectations for each part.
  • Carry out accurate visual assessments on products including using the Customer provided master plaques and signed off samples.
  • Carry out Delivery Quality checks – e.g., correctly labeled product, correct parts in the box etc.
  • Record all instances of failure on appropriate reporting format
  • Behave in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner towards all employees’ customers and visitors.
  • Encourage good communication and working relationships across the business.
  • Share job knowledge and skills and supporting other team members with their workload.
  • Keep your Team Leader/Manager informed of any issues and take a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Suggest ways to improve quality, productivity, and the work environment.
  • Complete training and development to increase professional competence.

...AND POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS?

  • GCSE or Equivalent in maths and English
  • Previous experience of inspection to automotive standard or within a quality department advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience of working within mould, assembly and aesthetic paint is an advantage
  • Knowledge of quality and business systems
  • Familiar with measurement techniques
  • Familiar with Metrology, Inspection Methods and Equipment
  • Understanding manufacturing processes
